There are several Keurig B70 reviews out there, but I don’t think they do a thorough enough job, especially when it comes to the Keurig B70 problems. So I’ll be identifying the most common problems of the Keurig B70 Platinum, but first I like to take a look at the positive aspects. As my grandmother used to say; “If you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all.” But in a review we need to look at the good with the bad. So let’s start with the good.
The Keurig Platinum single serve coffee maker is a fully programmable coffee maker as you’d expect in this price range of around $200, though you can get it at the best price on Amazon as I’ll show you later. The Keurig B70 coffee maker is also the top of the line Keurig coffee machine that carries the Keurig name brand. And it is the one I’d recommend you go with, and I’ll share some of those reasons below.
Unlike the Keurig B60 Special Edition coffee maker, the Keurig Platinum single cup brewer offers your choice of 5 different beverage sizes rather than 3. I like my coffee in mugs and the Keurig Platinum B70 coffee machine allows you to choose from 4 ounce shots for iced drinks up to a more reasonable 12 ounces for coffee.
Here are some of the features of the Keurig Platinum B70 single cup coffee maker:
- Enjoy fresh single cup coffee every time with patented K Cups
- Fully programmable one touch control panel with blue lit display
- Adjustable brew temperature and removable drip tray
- Removable large reservoir holds up to 60 ounces and dishwasher safe
- 1 year warranty and a small footprint for small kitchen spaces
So I told you that I’d mention the Keurig B70 problems, and the biggest problems I noticed in my research was that some folks were having issues with their Keurig Platinum B70 drawing water from the reservoir. Now, this usually happens within the first few months and seems to only affect a small percentage of folks. And remember that it does carry a 1 year warrant so you can safely return it. However, that can be a hassle, and from what I can tell, the Keurig B60 doesn’t have this problem. Though personally, I’d go with the B70 and take my chances. The odds are in your favor your machine will be just fine.

Review paraphrased for space – Click here for full review
The machine is extremely well designed, simple to operate, aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly, brews an excellent cup of coffee. Keurig has gathered support of a variety of gourmet coffee, tea, and cocoa manufacturers and there currently there are over 140 different types sold pre-packaged in K-Cups… Overall the Keurig brewers are excellent value and quality… – D.
