Cuisinart Grind And Brew Coffee Maker Review

Alrighty, today is Cuisinart Grind and Brew coffee maker review. Don’t you just love it when things rhyme almost by accident 🙂 The grind and brew coffee machine that we’re going to take a look at is the Cuisinart DGB-625BC as pictured to the left. Here’s a quick summation of what I think of the Cuisinart DGB. If you’re looking for hassle free grind and brew coffee, you can’t go wrong with this Cuisinart Grind n Brew. I give it 2 thumbs up, and frankly, I think more folks are going to be buying grind and brew coffee makers as time goes by. It’s just too easy, and you have fresh coffee all the time.

But let’s take a closer look at this coffee machine in our Cuisinart coffee maker review. I’ve done a ton of reviews on Cuisinart coffee machines for a couple of reasons. They generally make great coffee makers, but they also make a lot of coffee makers. But with the future heading towards grind and brew coffee makers I’m delighted to see that Cuisinart is stepping up to the plate with their own offerings. Although this is not a burr grinder grind and brew coffee maker, it still grinds the beans pretty evenly, and for the price, this cheap grind and brew coffee machine can’t be beat.

This Cuisinart coffee maker is a 12 cup coffee maker, so you know what that means. It’s more like a 4 to 6 coffee mug coffee maker. But this is not a slight at Cuisinart, it’s just that coffee maker manufacturers seem to think that 5 or 6 ounces is a cup of coffee. Not sure how they get that, but that’s just my ongoing small complaint. Anyway, if you’d like to take a quick look at a video overview of the Cuisinart DGB-625BC Grind and Brew 12 cup automatic coffee maker then please click here.

Here are some of the many features of the Cuisinart DGB-625BC:

  • This 12 cup coffee maker has a built in coffee bean grinder
  • Brew/pause feature for instant coffee and fully programmable
  • You can disable the grinder if you want to use pre-ground coffee instead
  • Gold tone permanent coffee filter and charcoal water filter included
  • Industry leading 3 year warranty

This Cuisinart grind n’ brew coffee machine like most Cuisinart coffee makers offers a permanent gold tone filter which is not only more environmentally friendly but also helps you out in a pinch if you’ve run out of paper filters. The glass carafe is well built and sturdy, and will take the occasional ding, it also pours without dripping which seems to be unusual in coffee carafes nowadays 😉 and the ergonomic handle is comfortable even for arthritic hands.

Review shortened for space – You can read the full review here

I had an earlier version of the 10-cup Cuisinart Grind and Brew that lasted more than 3 years. But the superior taste of the coffee you get from the grind and brew is absolutely worth the extra couple minutes of prep time it takes. All in all, I am VERY glad I purchased this product. I love it! – pjrocks
